Love and help others: Hating on people is burdensome. Helping a neighbour, a friend or a family member do some work is worth it. You will realise the joy that comes with helping. Help people so others will help you when you are in need. If you think you can live alone like an island, you are making a mistake.
Do not hold grudges: Someone must have hurt you along the line to the extent you think forgiveness has no role to play. The truth is, forgiveness is awesome, it brings you inner joy and gets rid of the bitter thoughts in your mind. Ask yourself, what benefit does holding grudges have? Do what is right: Doing the right things at the right time always, takes a lot of willpower, courage and determination, but you will feel good after it because you have no guilt in you.

Avoid the reoccurrence of mistakes: Making a mistake is natural and that is normal but the reoccurrence of the same mistake is unwise and it indicates carelessness. It will leave you hating yourself.
Avoid the wrong people: Sticking to people for so long might make you pick up their habits. These habits may be good or bad and if they are bad, it may turn your life into a complete drama. Time is precious, once wasted, it can never be recovered. Therefore, value your time and don’t waste it on people who will never add anything valuable to your life.
Never give up during your darkest moments: Life is like an adventure, you can not predict what you will meet or who you will meet. You will definitely meet the good, the bad or the ugly. When you meet the bad and the ugly, never let it destabilise you. Just hold on tight, it will not last long.
Avoid envy and jealousy: Do you ever feel sad because you don’t have what some other person has? or you feel like a friend does something better than you do?
You have to get rid of these feelings because it’s poisonous to your life. Learn to be happy with what you have while working for what you need.
Do one thing at a time: Sometimes, you may feel like you have so many things to do (washing, shopping, your homework, you have to study, house chores, read and reply emails, etc,). The best thing to do is to write them down according to their preferences, Stop trying to accomplish so many things at the same time, you will make yourself frustrated and stressed out.
